Páramo de Corcos
Is the only wine from a family with five generations of growers in Ribera del Duero, Spain. It comes from a single vineyard plot set at nearly 1,000 meters of altitude, where cold nights and elevation shape its personality. From its very first vintage, 2018, only 3,434 numbered bottles were made. A true single-vineyard wine that already feels like a future classic.
Grape
It’s crafted from 100% Tempranillo grafted in the field, with no clonal selection, grown in organic vineyards on fresh, deep sandy-loam soils. The grapes clearly reflect the Páramo de Corcos site and its pure, sustainable surroundings.
WinemakingThe winemaking is hands-on and precise: double manual sorting of bunches and berries, fermentation with native yeasts, and malolactic fermentation in barrel. Then the wine ages for at least 12 months in oak, mostly French, refining its structure and adding complexity.
Tasting
In the glass it shows a deep, clean cherry-red color. On the nose you get wild red berries, forest floor, balsamic hints, gentle toast, and a floral touch. On the palate it’s smooth, broad, and velvety, with great volume but an elegant, lively flow. Perfect with red meats, roasts, or simply on its own, no rush needed.
